Alan I. Begner

Alan I. Begner is dedicated to serving clients with the highest standards of the legal profession. He has practiced law for over 48 years litigating complex and non-complex First Amendment issues, criminal defense, alcohol licensing and gaming machines law. The Atlanta Journal Constitution has written four stories about his practice over the years. He has been named “Super Lawyer”. Mr. Begner graduated in 1975 with a J.D. from Samford University Cumberland School of Law. He was a Past President and National Chairman of the First Amendment Lawyers Association and has served as an adjunct Professor of Law at John Marshall Law School.

Susan E. Poloski

Susan E. Poloski has 45 years of experience in Criminal Justice and the Legal Community. She moved to the Atlanta area in 2013. Prior to moving to Atlanta, she worked as a Police Administrative Assistant for the Prince George’s County Maryland Police Department; legal Secretary and Paralegal for Mudd, Mudd & Fitzgerald in LaPlata, Maryland; Squire Sanders in Washington, D.C. and Walsh Colucci in Arlington, Virginia. Susan has been with Begner and Begner since 2013 in the role of Office Manager and Licensing Specialist.

Helen Luttrell

Helen T. Luttrell obtained a B.A. in History and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California-Riverside. She has worked in legal support for the last 39 years, for the last 30 as a paralegal. Before coming to work for Begner & Begner, she worked for Kelly Law Firm for 20 years. She is dedicated to assisting clients and maintaining a calm and smooth running office.
